(Course Ref: AC01 / AC10)

Friday 22nd June 2012
10.00 for a 10.30 start ending each day for 14.30
St Bede's Pastoral Centre, York - just four minutes
walk from the railway station
Our termly gatherings are intended for those who are considering retiring from the ministry of headteacher of a Catholic School; those who are retiring this year; and for those who have retired as a Catholic Headteacher.
WHY.......? Because we believe that stepping down from the important ministry of Headship of a Catholic school is a transition that should be recognised, celebrated and reflected upon.
It's a huge change, often a huge decision and offers opportunities for wonderful new beginnings to explore and experience. For those who have retired, our meetings offer a termly opportunity to meet with friends and former colleagues in a relaxed environment, share experiences, celebrate Eucharist and have lunch together ... and maybe afterwards to spend sometime in York.
The day will be facilitated by Frank and Sue McDermott. (Sue took early retirement from headship in 2005 and Frank retired from his full-time diocesan role in 2006. Both remain involved in education through the ministry of Anam Cara and Rainbows in addition to enjoying retirement from full-time work)
Please book as soon as possible as there are limited places available. Simply complete the on-line booking form or email or phone Anam Cara - we'll confirm your reservation and send you an invoice later.
